Students get acquainted with the structure and functioning of trade unions and what role they play. Also the total organizations to which the companies belong. The relations between the union and sponsors are discussed, and how members can be mobilized for further participation in their work. Basic law is dealt with, the laws that support existing collective agreements, as well as the right to maternity leave, unemployment benefits and various insurance. Emphasis is placed on good communication in the workplace. Their basis and what makes communication worse. Students become familiar with how bullying can develop in the workplace, who can respond to it, and who is responsible for the fact that bullying does not thrive in the workplace.
